How do you get a family with 10 kids ages 3-11 to stand still and smile for a picture? Truth be told, I have NO idea. Guess this picture is actual proof that miracles are real, people! Still in shock over how sweet these kids were.

It’s been one month with our sweet Olivia and we just love her to bits. Taking newborn pictures of my babies is always one of the most stressful parts about having a baby for me. Every day she changes and grows, and I just want to capture that little-ness before it’s gone, but it seems like by the time I get her dressed, fed, happy, and myself bathed, dressed, and have the setup ready to go, the sun has gone down. It only took us 4 separate tries to get these, but I’m happy with how they finally turned out – and so is my ever patient husband.
What a lovely family I met at their gorgeous home in Fall City! These warm spring evenings are making me so excited for a gorgeous Pacific Northwest summer. I always say you can’t beat Seattle summers, and here was a sneak peek.
A photo shoot involving baby twins and a 3-year-old is guaranteed to make you smile! I loved this quick, Christmassy photo shoot with some of my favorite people. And can I just say, I’m one lucky auntie!
Some day when I’m old and rich, I’m going to have a second home in San Diego and live there half the year and Washington the other half. Until then, I’m just going to have to make lots of trips to visit these guys! Family pictures with them at the San Diego LDS Temple was so fun!
I just love these boys. Family pictures with a tripod and remote are never easy, but it definitely helps that my little boy recently developed a dauntless fascination with small blinking lights, just like the one on my camera. Score!
We love Lake Sammamish State Park and feel so lucky to live only about 3 minutes away.
I got a little behind on blogging, so here’s some catching up! This was a fun Black Friday shoot on a gorgeous fall day at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. What a sweet family the Harps are, and so understanding as this also so happened to be my little “assistant’s” first photo shoot with me, thanks to a last minute change in my husband’s work schedule. Ergobaby carrier for the win!
Maybe next time he’ll stay home with Dad…
Meet the Jenks–David, Amanda and their sweet little Joey. Amanda was my college roommate for a few semesters, and is one of the most talented and generous people I know. Don’t believe me? Check out her adorable food blog The Taste Tester. You just might find yourself whipping up some ah-MAZE-ing browned butter chocolate chip cookies way too late at night. Seriously, you need to try these.
I was thrilled to take pictures of this cute little family. Hope you enjoy them!
